Issues trying to load Devious Devices

I think i have an issue running Devious Devices. I am using Skyrim SE and I have Devious Devices installed in SE mode.

 

But when I go in game I get the following error:

UD detected that 1023 device/s are patched incorrectly! Check SKSE log for more info. Please update your load order, and try to load the game again.

My load order is below.



Everything else seems to work but just not Devious Devices. What am I doing wrong?

That message is an Unforgiving Devices message, not a Devious Devices one.  It is telling you that you haven't patched your Devious Devices to work with Unforgiving Devices properly and that UD will not work for those devices.

 

Note that Unforgiving Devices modifies Devious Devices, but is not the baseline framework.

Okay thanks for that, how do i make them work correctly? 

I also notice when clicking on Devious Devices it seems to have an issue with the load order for Devious Devices NG and ZAZ animations:



Though both DD NG and ZAZ require Devious Devices to begin with.

Firstly, you can check what is conflicting by doubleclicking on the mods in question.  The highlight doesn't mean there's necessarily an issue, just that the listed mods have something that overwrites.  That said:

 

ZAZ is a completely different framework from DD.  The overwrite is only textures for metal locks.  That's basically harmless.

 

Devious Devices NG is supposed to overwrite DD SE.  It's a patch over the base DD.

 

In order to use UD, it's usually recommended to use the Synthesis patcher, but the process to do so is a bit involved.  To see if your load order works, I'd more recommend disabling Unforgiving Devices, and then deciding after you've verified it's worked if you want to get into the process of patching your load order for it.

I've been trying to run Sythesis by downloading it fron github, extracting it and loading the program into MO2. I ran it and then i tried to follow the instructions but i am stuck with an error:

 

What would I be doing wrong?

Might try selecting "Latest" or "Match" for Mutagen and Synthesis lines.  I'm not the most help on Synthesis settings though.  Sometimes it just works and other times I have to fiddle with file downloads.
