Yeah, I've seen some interesting screenshots of parent-toddler attractions from this bug. It absolutely baffles me that they've left such a disturbing issue in. Functionally, fortunately, it doesn't seem to have an effect on what the characters can do with each other from what I've seen, but how there isn't a simple assert that a character cannot have romantic interest in blood relatives or characters of the incorrect age group incorporated is beyond me.
