Text from mods, sl defeat, are just empty squares, as if its missing symbols ?

I have installed, quite a few mods, sl defeat for example. They work perfectly fine. But as you can see the text looks like that, empty boxes. I can choose those text options, the action does happen. But i cannot read it. Any ideas ?

This is what happens when you use mods from the Korean or Chinese original... they first need to be "translated".
