I need help figuring out why my saved game keeps crashing.

For those who know how to read PapyrusLog, could you please help me? I don't know why my saved game keeps crashing even though the others load normally.

I am having a similar problem. I can create new characters,, but I can't load saves. I suspect that one of my Nexus updates was bad, but I don;t know which one yet.

 

I plan to remove my most recently installed mods until my saves start working. 

 

If that does not work, time to rebuild from the ground.

The problem is that only this save file is crashing; the others work fine. A few days ago, they were all working perfectly. I think I have no choice but to delete it; at least I want to know which mod is causing it.

Give Fallrim Resaver a try. I have used it to recover saves, your mileage may vary. Mod 5031 at Nexus

Of course I use Resaver, that's why I want to know which mod is causing the problem so I can restart it. Because when I use Resaver, I don't get any errors.

Papyrus logs only go so far. You might have better success in actually finding what's happening if you have an actual crash log:

Install that, have the game crash, upload the resulting crashlog (found in %userprofile%\Documents\My Games\Skyrim Special Edition\SKSE )

Will start with crash-

 

At most the papyrus log suggests something is thrashing and not having a very cash money time.

 

Based purely off logspam near the end, HentaiEnemies is shitting the bed, but that could just be a symptom of the problem.

After further use of the Resave tool, I discovered that the Hentai Enemies mod plugin disappeared from the save file for some reason, and that's causing the crashes. I don't really know how to fix it; I guess I'll just delete it. Thanks for letting me know.

It was crashing in anim behavior shit looks like. Don't forget to run pandora (which is surprisingly easy to do)

No, I already ran Pandora, and my other 3 saved games work correctly; the crash only happens in this one.

Are you exceeding (or getting very close to) 65,536 animations? I've noticed things tend to break when getting around there.

Had a similar issue I struggled a long time with. In my case deactivating faster HDT worked. (In short - the game tries to apply physics on an object that no longer exists for a variety of reasons, which then points to an unallocated memory slot.)

The papyrus log is full of errors relating to Oorgasmquest or whatever that mod is.

 

I recently had all my saves brick and had similar issues in my logs relating to a mod I luckily did not use much.

 

You might have to abandon that mod
