Judging Interest

Because of recent developments in the custom sim world, I'm thinking about getting into customization.  I just want to gauge interest from the community before I dedicate too much time into this.  My skills have never been in from-scratch creation, but I do minor alterations and CC modifications pretty decent, at least as I consider them.  So, with that in mind, a couple examples.

First is a sim I don't see too often out in the wild.  Sienna Grove of Chestnut Ridge fame.  I am actually really proud of the way she turned out and will probably upload her regardless, since I don't see her get much love from sim customizers.  What I've included is just her hot weather outfits, which I don't overdo the makeup on.  Especially not for a country gal.  She does get dolled up in her formal and party outfits, but I'm still WIP on those and her Everyday outfits, so it'll be a little bit before I consider her ready for release.

The second is based on a Gallery upload.  I've included an image of the original version for reference (last image).  Sasha Snow, as uploaded by SweetSimPenny, original design by spenndragin (if I read the disclaimer blurbs correct).  Which means she will not likely see an upload regardless of whether I do this or not.  I'm just using her as a showcase, mainly because I don't have a lot of examples yet.  But while I have no problem including anyone's freely available (important) CAS CC for custom sims, I won't consider releasing anyone's original sim unless they are explicitly allowing reuploads.  That said, she did turn out really well.  Of course, helped that she was based on a very well created sim, so I do have to hand a lot of that credit to the original creator and the uploader.

Anyway, if there's enough interest, I will likely look at customizing and uploading townies.  Starting with the ones that don't get done too often, if at all.  There's only so many times you can redo the Calientes before eyes start to bleed.
