Paradox_of_Theseus Posted April 5 Posted April 5 Hey All! I am curious how you all like to kick off a new adventurer in Skyrim, specifically in a Skyrim filled with lewd mods? For me, originally I would always use the Alternate Start mod's option for Left for Dead. I personally love starting games as a nobody with no skills, no equipment, and no one I can rely on. In Dark Souls games I always choose the Deprived option. Skyrim is no different, I also like removing any extra spells and using a skill rebalancer to put all skills at 1. The mod would drop you in a few different spots, and usually the first thing to do is get to a town without dieing. From here I usually end up either getting caught before I can reach town and ending up someone's slave, or make it to town and end up in a Tavern trying to scrape together enough coins to pay for room and board (eventually affording armor and weapons). I took a break from Skyrim for awhile and came back recently. I have 2 characters right now. -One is a Nord who did the Wartime's Daughter start, but after a certain reveal I ended up murdering my Father, then getting caught by a Guard and sent to Ravenbeak Prison to serve my sentence. After release she stumbled upon Helgen and began the basic Skyrim storyline. Currently she just came back from the initial Dragon fight, she has very weak combat skills and had to rely on the Guards to fight the dragon. She is hesitant to leave Whiterun by herself, but fortunately she now has a formidable companion in the form of Lydia to help carry her burden. -My other is a Dunmer who arrived in Windhelm from Morrowind with just the clothes on her back (another Alternate Start mod option). Wanting to learn more about her people's affinity with magic, she whored herself out to earn enough coins to go to college. Her desire to learn magic at any cost has led her to studying many forbidden magics and reaching out to unnatural teachers. She began associating closely with Daedra and it has left its marks on her, turning her into a Succubus. Currently she is traveling the lands in search of more magic, more pleasure, and more carnage (she really enjoys burning her enemies alive with fire magic...specifically using magic to incapacitate them inside a wall of fire). But is unaware of her status as the Dragonborn yet. So what sort of ways do you all start off new characters?

So I use "race menu" for my character creation... but I guess that's not what you wanted to know. 😉 It's highly unlikely that anyone who gets mods from this site hasn't planned on "sexualizing" their avatar... why else would anyone want to play something so ancient - with such a dull and contradictory main plot... and loads of annoying side quests. And if you want to know what "dirty ulterior motive" drives my protagonist... then follow the link "at the end" of the post to my blog story.

Sorry, I think I may not have phrase the question correctly. I meant to specifically ask about Mods that give a more lewd beginning to a fresh start. That is what I meant to convey with my 2 examples (Wartime's Daughter and Alternate Start-to-Simple Slavery). I am fishing to see what other people might use to inspire a new character beginning.
Aldid Posted May 14 Posted May 14 The gradual descent into debauchery is the point for me, so the PC has to start out from a state of moderate normalcy. At this point I've gone through the early levels so many times that I prefer to imagine my PC starting out as an already somewhat established adventurer, so frequently I simply start out owning breezehome and some basic equipment. From there, I try to make things interesting...
ChibiUser Posted Monday at 10:15 AM Posted Monday at 10:15 AM I got my Skyrim set up as a pretty blend between vanilla and lewd mods/survival. So for me, I start off with some roleplay ideas for a character. Eg. My current run is a nobles daughter, send out to learn some real world consequences and experience. For a while it went swimmingly, until I got knocked out by a bandit and sold into slavery xD Then I usually try to escape/continue the RP from the characters perspective. Some manage to get out, some are lost forever. To me, it's great fun
