Belly Collision Twitch Help!

Recommended Posts

I'm using ABC with Softbody and the penetration physics mod to align things correctly. I am also using CBPC fully for the physics and have selected that option for both 3ba and softbody. I am using a custom race but I have built the body with softbody in BS and have applied it.

Here is the result. Can anyone help me figure out the issue? Is it just some adjustments I need to make in the cbpc config file (I tried that to no affect)?

try increasing "BellyBulgeReturnTime" in " CBPCollisionConfig_Female" config for a quick easy attempt

if that doesnt do

then try increasing the damping in "CBPConfig_belly" for x,y,z but not the rotation

The return time did help, but the twitch is still present. The Damping I tried going from .02 up incrementally to 1.0 and not much changed.  Any other suggestions?

damping 1.0 would be extreem . i'd revert that

damping sorta cancels out movement . as resistance force to the movement . higher gives it more drag . while lower makes it more snappy or jiggly .

but im not sure in the case of this config if its calculated at all when it comes to movement from outside force " collision "

u could try " Belly.collisionFriction " its set to zero by default and i havent tried it myself so not sure besides what the name suggests

the name suggests friction with colliding objects " sorta sticking to the collider " which may give the desired effect .

otherwise u could increase  "Belly.stiffness" X,Y and Z . but that would have the side effect of lowering belly jiggle generally . its a case of do u care more about belly jiggle when moving or with cases like here

Thanks for the help! It seems one or 2 animations to be the worst offenders, but after I made your suggested changes its way better for most animations.

It's amazing how neither of them realizes that this isn't the technical support for Skyrim SE/AE

It's amazing how you cared enough to post about that. Go find something better to do. Like seriously

And did you think your problem had already been resolved, perhaps through the proper channels?
