Soronarr Posted March 22 Posted March 22 I'm trying to get Skyrim up and running (Steam SE, 1.6.6170 ) and Sexlab confuses the everliving s*** out of me. Using MO2 for mods. First SOS - I got the AE version and the 3.004 and I got both, but LOOT reports the core is missing? (edit, now it doesnt anymore) Similar issues with most LL mods - can't figure out what version I need, what patches. Devious Devices, Sex Lab Defeat - which version? And animations - half are reported for oldrim? Are there no updated downloads? Pandora load/compils wihout problems. ATm when trying to launch Skyrim I get a DLL error for DD and SOS. Attached is the MO2 screenshot of my modlist if it will help

First SOS - I got the AE version ... can't figure out what version I need Issues: 1.6.6170 is not a valid Skyrim SE version. You probably meant 1.6.1170.0, which is Skyrim AE. Has the SOS version you downloaded been made for and tested on 1170? Pandora load/compils wihout problems. There's conversion tools for animations, such as Cathedral Assets Optimizer. Just be careful using this tool, as it's quite easy to accidentally "optimize" your entire Skyrim directory. Pandora is WIP and won't report issues in FNIS mods. If unsure, run FNIS first, then overwrite its output with Pandora once it passes without warnings and errors. This can seem very ignorant to others. Skyrim is not the Xbox store where you swipe your credit card and click-click to install new DLC. Skyrim modding is what hacking used to be: the insatiable hunger to learn how things work, and to make things do stuff they weren't meant to do. There's a reason some of us have been doing this for well over a decade. You'll have more fun modding Skyrim if you do not start from the deep end of the pool: Learn how to... ...resolve file conflicts in MO2. ...find out which mod is providing a file in MO2. ...solve record conflicts in xEdit. ...edit records in xEdit. ...view meshes in NifSkope. ...view textures with a DDS viewer like Irfanview or Paint.NET. With this, you'll no longer be flying blind.

If you choose Pandora, keep FNIS installed as you'll need it eventually.

On another note, got DD working and after some crashes and tests, I figured out SOS is causing the crashes (not anim packs). I tried several version, manually moving around .dlls, but no luck. Withotu SOS game loads (cahracter is T-posing, but that's an improvement) Edited March 30 by Soronarr

Soronarr Posted March 30 Author Posted March 30 (edited) I found the SOS version finally Good. Some progress. Can't shlongify females tough. I guess another mod/add-on is needed. Complains skeleton isn't right (custom race), but I dont' have custom race and se the XPMS extended seleton (latest download from Nexus) + CBBE 3A body. Also, thanks. Reagardnganiamtions- seems like SexLab P+ with the converted aniamtions is the way to go? Edited March 30 by Soronarr
