Mod community still active?

Hey all,

I was initially pleasantly surprised by the mods I saw in the Downloads section for Starfield but I also saw that a lot of stuff was from last year, only a few recent replies, etc. Is the NSFW modding community not really active for this game anymore? Are mods still working with latest version of the game?

Thanks!

The 1.15 update to Starfield disabled a lot of mods, including NAF, which nearly all adult mods depend on to function. So most of the modders on LL have just been patiently waiting for an NAF update, which the mod author for whatever reason has not been able to provide yet. But recently user mielu91 has created SAF, an animation framework to replace NAF, so now its a matter of updating all the old NAF-dependent mods to work with SAF. Gergal Ebanex has already been updated and is functional and NAF Seduce and Surrender reportedly have updates coming in the very near future. Now that Starfield has a viable animation framework mod I expect to see an uptick in modding activity as older mods get updated and new mods start coming out, especially when the Terran Armada DLC drops in April (provided that game update doesn't break mods again.)

There's even bigger news now, CALUMI Motion, it allows for native animations to be made.

As in no SKSE plugins, no additional frameworks, completely native
