Joke mod idea: Hangman's Rocket Noose

So I've spent the last couple weeks replaying FO4 for the first time in years, first time really using LL mods, still learning the ropes. One of the the main utility mods I've used since FO4 came out has been the Jetpack Ring mod. Unfortunately, in my most recent attempted build, Rad Morph Redux keeps forcing me to unequip said jetpack ring for the mildest of radiation exposure. Annoyingly, I have also had little luck finding a mod that allows one to upgrade the jetpack item perk onto other pieces of apparel (let alone any DD gear), effectively shutting down a potential workaround.

 

In the midst of this frustration, however, I found inspiration. I am an absolute sucker for joke mods, with extra points for something that's both silly and practical (e.g. the What the Fart/Unrelenting Force on Self shout for Skyrim). What if there was a DD/KFT collar/upgrade that added jetpack functionality? Better yet, pair it with standard in-air control, ragdolling the player character, and negating fall damage. You could have your gimped player flying and flopping around the Commonwealth like Goat Simulator! Add shock collar functionality, and it could zap the wearer if their AP ran-out mid-flight. Integrate with Cursed DD Enchantings, and get a faulty model that fires off randomly without your control. Remove the AP drain, add an essential flag, and craft a remote, and with one held trigger you could have an entire settlement worth of slaves spazzing out until you crash to desktop. Integrate with Torture Devices and/or Bound in Public, and you could have the player/NPC doing donuts over the gallows while being tethered like a balloon. Integrate it with some kind of prostitution mod, and you could have a pimp use these collars to deliver his hoes to long-distance clients (and potentially recall them). And although I don't see it as terribly feasible, I suppose someone could combine FO4's native bomb collar mechanics with this and maybe some kind of launcher or mortar to turn such collared slaves into kamikazes, perhaps flying headlong after a target is marked.

 

I don't actually expect any modders to run with this, but the idea amused me, and I see no harm in shooting my shot. Feedback is welcome.

Loving what I'm hearing. Could be integrated to help with steering, yes. Same with boots, now that I think about it. Might be best to make steerable and/or ragdoll versions of all pieces. Alternatively, one could make a set where all need to be worn at once in order to steer consistently/at all. That said, my initial emphasis was on ragdolling/visually hanging the wearer.

 

And now I just thought of something even dumber: in the vein of Sundowner from MGR Revengeance, straightjacket dress with directional explosive plating. Enemy strikes the wearer , both blow up, but the wearer merely ragdolls and gets up unharmed. Suddenly, the idea of a reusable kamikaze strategy looks more viable XD

 

Edit: Another dumb idea, building off of Franco's idea: rocket gag. Basically, blasts backward/forces reverse somersaults until someone turns it off (assuming remote) or it runs out of fuel (presumably requires/integrates a fusion core).
