Share your sims worlds - Lore and Ideas

Hi so... I will be updating this thread as it goes on, but I would like to see what worlds and lore you guys build for your sims and ideas behind it. How do you play it out? Here is a set of pictures of my worlds I built. If you have any lots and would like to share stories about it or what's happening in there feel free to do so. I would also love to hear your stories, it can be links to blogs. But at least mention something about it.

My first world is San Sequoia, except I changed it to look like Miami (Even though it isn't), I just like it's aesthetics and atmosphere. It's a leisure world, full of nightclubs and events, the sea overlooks hotel and next to it sits modeling agency venue where guests come to hang out. Photoshoots are common there as well as events, the boss of the agency is a shady crooked 'hag', whose lore I once wrote here.: https://childlike-aletopelta-659.notion.site/aff30ff461c04b8aa19a84e0fbdb0157?v=1e9c89f9f9224250b5f30ac3e84c8855

I'm a big fan of world-building. Nothing against those who just post erotica out of context, by any means. Some of them are very good at it, and I love their pictures. But I'm not quite as good at it as others, so I try to make up for it by telling a compelling story (relevant links in my signature below). Anyway, the way I do it is I come up with an idea for a world I want to create, then I build it up how I want it, then I decide the time is right to craft a protagonist and dump him in that world and tell my story. In my current save, I knew that a lot of the action would revolve around the building and development of Newcrest, so I planted some families there in what in game lore was the year 1960. Then I played through the years, adding new characters as needed. My first generation (all Irish and Italian) made their money and moved into a better neighborhood, and the slums were repopulated with a different group of people (in my case, Ibero-Americans, mostly Galician and Portuguese, but it could have been anyone, really), and those shifting demographics become part of the story. Anyway, I said I started in 1960. Eventually I had all of Newcrest built up.

And also did some building and repopulating in other worlds, too, and my save got to the in-game year of 2000, and I created my protagonist, Connor, plopped him down originally in Strangerville (he's since moved), and started telling my story. But by the time I even began, I already had dozens and dozens of sims I'd created as either main or supporting characters as part of the story. And it feels more real because I built it up gradually. One of my mains owns a strip club in Newcrest, and some of his customers are locals who were the children of the very first sims I planted when I started the file.

In real life, it took me about a month to go from building to storytelling. I started the save in the middle of June last year, and started the blog in the middle of July.

Thanks for starting this thread. I love to hear others talk about their process.
