Locking Animation in Directed Sex

Is there a way to lock sims in one animation when in directed sex? I managed to set the settings this way for the currently played characters, but with NPCs it doesn't seem possible. They always finish after a climax animation or a set time. Is there a reason why it is not possible for NPCs to be in a certain animation for however long we want them to?

My work around is making a playlist with just the animations I want leaving out the climax and then make it where it can only end with a climax. I set the time for 20 minutes and it works for me. I can't run more than 6 scenes with up to 7 sims at a time or it will stop everything.  I think the reason you can't keep them is because the game sends them auto prompts and you can't stop some of them.
