building my own modpack help

Im considering building my own personalized modpack. At the moment im thinking of using bottlerim as a foundation and adding stuff i want and like to it, my questions are, would LL content mesh well with it? For example if i wanted to add creature framework or defeat mods, would they slot in well or would i need to tinker with the list to get it running smoothly? Are there other foundational modpacks out there that might be better for this? Would the existing mods conflict with stuff like say, combat stripping or other mods like that? How do i ensure the versions of mods are compatible with each other and their dependencies? Sorry if these are bonehead questions, i have 0 experience modding things outside of just installing stuff from WJ

The answer to these questions you can get by querying your mod manager for file conflicts, and xEdit for plugin record conflicts. The rest is testing.

I rephrased your question a bit. You can't make a modpack without tinkering.

As long as you don't crash into this thinking you can have a 1000 mod setup up and running in a week you'll be fine. Learn the basics, figure out how to view meshes in NifSkope, how to view textures with a DDS utility, how to resolve file conflicts with your mod manager and how to patch and edit records in xEdit.

Installing a pre-made modpack is going to look tempting no doubt, but as you've already sort of realized by asking these questions is that all that's going to do is give you a massive black box where no one but the original author knows how it works.
