Hiya i stumbled across Try-whats 4shared folder which has mod files inside it, only thing is they are password protected.

Usually files are password protected to prevent people from unauthorized access. Do you know who posted the files?  If so, would it not be prudent to get the password from them?

To be fair if i actually knew the guy and he could speak english i would.

Also he tends not to like releasing his stuff to many people.

this is a simple request,

if people dont want to help then fair enough, but i simply wanted to make this request im not forcing anyone.

Now, now, do not get defensive, I was pointing out that there would be little chance that anyone had the password in my own classless style.

However, if I had it, I would at least share the files with you.

If you do a Google search on giesize様へ it leads you to some late last year and this year discussion on the MOD, but it has not been released, hence the password lock.

I had discovered these files a while back myself, from another site pointing to them.

its really hard trying to find out any information about this as google translate really messes with the wording on try whats blog. i think i saw something that says its a 5 letter pass

There's another 4Shared of his that also has all password protected files. As far as I know, he's anal about sharing and when he does it's for short durations. I guess your best bet would be to see if you could directly find out from him or see if someone else within his little circle can share. Most stuff of his that gets shown off is kept to himself.

The password protected files are for guests who commented (in Japanese) on the blog.

Sometimes he shares part of his work with those guests, and the passwords are chosen by the guests themselves.

Therefore, each files vary.

err.. I think he's rage about it...

He deleted all the files in 4shared  :s

Says he lost access to 4shared for some reason.  It was another commenter who was really angry at us "loverslab scum" for...trying to use the internet for what it's used for - to share stuff..

It continually puzzles me as to why people post something on the internet, and get mad when it gets distributed beyond their control. Um, don't they know how the internet works? I always lol when I see the "please don't share this with anyone else" in a readme i come across.

Anyways, great 4shared directory share there - I'm sure you have some folks shaking their fists at you for that ;)

Well i have to say this is just sad, personally if i dont want to share something i dont gloat about it by flashing any pictures or files on the internet or under anyones nose.

The whole point of the internet is to share and otherwise communicate with people who are far away or whatever. And well if they didnt want me finding it they should not of uploaded it or at least gave it some thought.. the internet isnt just restricted for him and his mates.

Either way i find this completely unfair that their having a paddy about me for this...

And being immature about it by throwing insults around at people they dont even know isnt really helping their case any, at least act like civilised adults about the situation.
