The "Have Sex" dialog does not activate sex.

The gist is this:
- A Sim asks another Sim for sex.
- The dialogue plays out and ends as usual.
- There are no further actions and sex doesn't begin. In other words, the dialogue ends without continuing.

This happens 20-50% of the time, I can't say for sure.

And I can't connect it to anything else. It seems like this issue is unrelated and completely random.

This happens to me sometimes as well, maybe more often when sims attempt to hook up autonomously. The purple WooHoo logo never appears in the tasks queue and the sims never go anywhere. Maybe a pathing or task priority issue?

Same. I'd say it's about 75% of the time for me. It's weird in that there are other times when it almost always results in a scene, but those are rarer. The last time I played, my sim even got propositioned by a sim he hadn't even introduced himself to yet in a gym, and it resulted in no scene despite agreeing. Then, a few days later, he gets prop'd by the same sim twice in one day, with the same answer and result as the first time. I have not messed around with the autonomy settings.

This happens to me too, but be aware: if children are in the same room, nothing will happen, especially if protection is enabled in WickedWhims.

The game can search for the animation's location; if it doesn't find enough space, nothing will happen.

Check each player's mood: a bad mood, hunger, a Sim's lack of cleanliness, or anger may prevent the animation from triggering.

You sound like you're talking about game mechanics, but it looks exactly like a bug.

It may be a bug, but I don't think it's unique to WW. I can think of at least three other situations that commonly lead to interactions being unceremoniously cancelled for no apparent reason: if i direct a sim to try to feed an infant, if my drug-dealing sim is trying to go through the motions of doing everything needed to get a new customer, or if my sim is being visited by another sim, and I load up, honestly virtually any interaction (even base game) as a greeting, there's a good shot the queued action disappears and I have to do it again. I'd bet - maybe not a lot of money, but a little - that all these things are related.

You're right. I've also noticed that certain actions in the game were interrupted.

But the action that triggers the sex event is canceled not only rarely, but very often. As I and others have mentioned before, this happens with a high percentage, which for some reason varies. In one of my sessions, I got canceled about five times in a row. And there were sessions where, for several hours of play, no cancellations occurred at all.
