AthenaWilliams Posted February 10 Posted February 10 View File [0.23.6] X-Press Delivery I was browsing the captions on the discord server and came across this amazing one from Aphrodite so full credit to her for the idea behind this mod and this amazing game. It works by going to the mall and seeing the flyer for the X-Press Delivery Job, it is avalible during the day slot Monday - Friday but you can change the days you work. You can also work at DynaPill if you're hired at X-Press and vice versa. The mod has integrations with: X-Fans Any Job When you start your shift you have to be female, if you're not they give you a Basic at the start of your shift for a price of course. Once you start your shift you have to deliver X number of packages before you're done, there is a 70% chance that you will deliver it normally, however there is a 30% chance that the customer will want some special treatment in order to get their signature and a nice tip! The base pay is $250 + tips, tips are given based on how satisfied the customer is with your special treatment, their satisfaction is also how you get promoted: Trainee - base - $250 Courier - Give 5 customers special treatment and have their satisfaction be 8+ - $350 Senior Courier - Give 15 customers special treatment and have their satisfaction be 8+ - $450 Lead Driver - Give 30 customers special treatment and have their satisfaction be 8+ - $600 Compatible with: BLACKED Character Mods Incompatibility: There are no known mod incompatibilities. MHans121 Posted February 13 Posted February 13 I think this needs an option for the player to attempt to avoid doing the "special services". That OR make the text more direct that this is a prostitution job. I cant role-play as a high masculinity reluctant character when the job is railroaded like that. I'd suggest treat it similar to how when a guy approaches the player. If player says no, NPC may respect that and back off. NPC could also try and charm the player. If the player makes it through a shift without providing any special services i'd suggest some flavor text from the employer, that could possibly influence role-play wise a reluctant character to "accidentally" fail a minigame trying to resist a client's special services request. 2

Tabbing down to it and clicking on back gives the following error: Error in (cs:) macro: can't access property "innerHTML", passageHook is null. It was called from x-press promotion" 1

I really like this suggestion, I think you're spot on that it should be more of a normal approach rather than straight to sex. I was toying with the idea of potentially adding in certain events such as taking a bimbo pill or something for a promotion the company is running etc so it would feed nicley into that. 1

lacie_ Posted February 17 Posted February 17 i'm getting an issue where my save file gets corrupted after doing an x delivery shift. i checked whether other alternate job mods corrupt the save and they don't (i checked the default clerk one and the hotel maid one). maybe it's a mod conflict but not sure what it could be. I had a quick look at the code to see if i could figure it out but on a glance didn't see anything that would produce a conflict. so not sure if this is a common problem or a mod conflict, i've copied my modlist below (its mostly just bar girls, characters and U666's mods) but if it is a mod conflict i don't expect you to debug it yourself, just more in case other people have the same issue and you can potentially cross-check to identify the problem. As this mod with Alternate Job Framework, does not cause issues, however, if you have Beyond Bliss loaded without this the same thing happens. I've just been updating this today so I was about to add a disclaimer to the mod page about it

ecastellvi Posted February 26 Posted February 26 (edited) I confirm is not Beyond Bliss Club because the issue of the corrupted savefiles I got it in a new installation of the game in which I never installed Beyond Bliss Club. Apparently, the corruption of files occurs only if you have special deliveries during the turn. Edited February 27 by ecastellvi

New update is now live, just don't use it in a save with an old version of X-Press

I've been looking into this, as well as save corruption from reports on the Discord, and I've been working to try and figure it out. I believe the latest version should fix a lot of it, as there were various issues with how variables were getting orphaned and then ballooning overtime which should now, no longer be an issue. Although I can't guarantee it, as if I'm just running this mod on 0.23.6 I'm managing to get through all of the promotions without issue. I did pinpoint a compatibility issue with BLACKED that I've resolved, as well as changed how a bunch of variables work, making sure that at the end of each shift all variables are correct disposed of if not needed etc. If you have issues in future I'll need to know what other mods you're running to make sure there are not other compatibility issues, as well as game version and mod version

MHans121 Posted June 9 Posted June 9 Still hoping for some kind of minigame introduction into this mod. Can't you borrow from the already present system for NPCs approaching the player? Like sometimes an NPC will request a blowjob or sex, offering x amount of cash. If you can figure out how to plug in that system with the minigames, it would add some needed depth. Currently the job is risk-free easy money. A high masc character is in zero danger of losing masculinity. Oh and sidenote: why have 4 dialogues when the NPC propositions you, if there are only 2 possible outcomes? Are these extra options something you have plans for? Side-side note: After working the delivery job, I can still go to the mall and "apply" for it. I dont think it affects gameplay but it is confusing if I already got the job.
