Kain82 Posted February 5 Posted February 5 I installed the Schlongs of Skyrim mod and when I try to launch the game I get a message saying that the dll file is not compatible with the latest SKSE64. The problem is I am using the no dll version of SOS. I had the mod installed for 3 years and have updated the game many times with no problems. But now on a clean install it's giving me problems. The only difference with this installation I use MO2 and with the previous installation I used Vortex. Can anyone help with my problem?
BDNelson Posted February 5 Posted February 5 (edited) This is the .dll you need if you are running SAE 1.6.1170 as I am. "SchlongsOfSkyrim_1_1_5-DLL-1_1_6_1170.zip", I got it off of LL... I think. It worked for me. I tried to upload it here, but it won't work, sorry. Edited February 5 by BDNelson

If you're on the latest, are you using Schlongs of Skyrim AE - No DLL Version 1.1.4 or an older version of SoS? If it's an older version of SoS, it may not work with AE, so you'll need the newer one.

Hm, looking through the support thread, that specific mod shouldn't be bring up the DLL message since there isn't one. Can you check if you have another version of SoS still activated? Or another mod that makes changes to SoS that might have included the DLL file for some reason?

Thank you for pointing me towards the right direction I figured it out. Before I installed the version from your link I had installed one that was for Skyrim SE and which still had a dll file. Before I installed the SOS for AE version I forgot to uninstall the SOS SE version which is what led to the conflict. 1
