SMP Clothes clipping through body

I decided to upgrade from version 1.5.97 to 1.6.1170, on 1.5.97 everything worked well When switching to 1.6.1170, some mods had to be updated and the following problem appeared:
ScreenShot0.png.99be66630741861aeeff36b02f45377a.pngScreenShot2.thumb.png.7a18b48452e9e7bff42a1e38e18a3185.png

(in the screenshots of DD - Chainmail and MAGECORE)

I have mods installed:
CBBE
CBBE 3BA
Faster HDT-SMP
CBPC - Physics with Collisions
and all the dependencies for them.

I believe the problem is setting up one or more mods from this list, but I don't know which ones. What could be the problem?

Well for magecore I have the following notes:

Issues:

*  Morph stuttering.
* All SMP robe variants have clipping issues with pregnancy slider.
* SOS_Revealing and SexLabNoStrip keywords are implemented wrong.
* Non-SMP dresses have bad weightpainting. Rear skirt is not painted, and the belly is clipping.
* Some items have clipping issues.

Changes:

*  Added CBPC keywords.
*  Fixed SOS_Revealing keyword.
*  Added SlaNudeArmor keyword.
*  Fixed clipping issues.
*  Removed container edits.
*  Removed unused leveled lists.
*  Removed pointless SexLabNoStrip keyword.
*  Added ZapGarter slider.

So that armor needs some work.

As for chainmail:

Issues:

* Panties are on the wrong equipment slot.
* Tops are missing the SOS_Revealing keyword.

Several things:

  1. SMP collision margins.
  2. SMP virtual or actual collision mesh.
  3. SMP solver numIterations and maxSubSteps values, and your FPS.
  4. Missing, or badly made morph sliders on the outfit itself.
  5. If that clipping is during motion, then it could be weightpainting. Edit: If one or both of the clipping parts is affected by physics, then it could also be weightpainting.

Also SMP occasionally bugs out, so before testing clipping issues, type "smp reset" in the console.

  3. Значения numIterations и maxSubSteps в решателе SMP, а также ваш FPS.
  4. Missing, or badly made morph sliders on the outfit itself.
  5. If that clipping is during motion, then it could be weightpainting.

Кроме того, в SMP иногда возникают ошибки, поэтому перед тестированием проблем с отсечением введите в консоли команду "smp reset".

Before that, on version 1.5.97, I had no problems with both of these mods.
I haven't changed anything in the Faster HDT-SMP config, numIterations 8, maxSubSteps 1. I almost always have about 60 fps, all screenshots are taken at a time when the character is not moving.

The smp reset command does not help. After entering, for a moment, the clothes approach the outline of the body, but not perfectly, but then they return to the state as shown in the screenshots.

Didn't expect it to, that was more generic advice. Usually it fixes situations where hair turns into a fur ball, or a skirt clips through the waist

If I had to guess, the issues you're seeing are from morph sliders and weightpainting. Both of these can relatively easily be fixed in Outfit Studio.

Please specify how to fix this in the Outfit Studio.

And why do I need a fix, 2 different mods and they don't work properly, maybe I chose something wrong during installation? I have reinstalled the mods for body, physics and collisions several times, but nothing has changed.

Surely there's YouTube videos for all of this by now?

Rarely if ever do I find an outfit mod that isn't broken in some way OOTB:

  1. Mislabeled outfits: 3BA which is actually CBBE, 3BAv2 which is actually 3BA, and so on.
  2. SOS_Revealing keyword is basically *always* implemented incorrectly.
  3. The pregnancy slider always has clipping issues.
  4. Negative slider values rarely work properly, but an argument could be made that these perhaps weren't meant to be used.
  5. Some outfits are just missing weightpainting for some bones for no apparent reason, usually it's the belly or legs.
  6. Surfaces being 2-sided, most likely doubling render time. This in addition to most outfits having the entire naked body underneath, even though the armor covers most of it - again increasing render time for no benefit.

The list could probably go on.

Even a mod that I have specifically marked as "Unusually high quality." has 8 issues listed in it. 2 of which are weightpainting issues in several items, and 3 are physics related. This is Modular Mage - CBBE 3BA-116972-1-3-3-1722033510 for those curious.

Seems unlikely, but very easy to test, no?

I managed to fix it without the Outfit Studio, it was all about the settings during installation, but I can't say exactly which ones.

The Magecore archive has no fomod options, so you did something other than a reinstall of that outfit. Reinstall of 3BA or FSMP perhaps?

Yes, I reinstalled 3BA, FSMP and CBPC.
