Help with Golden Whims mod

With how long it's been since this mod was last updated, I kind of expect it not to work correctly, but I wanted to see if maybe anyone had a fix. I have Golden Whims installed (https://github.com/quiet-bird/goldenwhims), which is supposed to have a lot of different piss-related interactions, but it only ever seems to work with a Sim I'm controlling. On top of that, it doesn't seem to work at all for Sims that can't stand to pee. It's supposed to have a squatting animation for them, but that's never worked. NPCs that attempt to use the spots autonomously will only have this thought bubble pop up (regarding the pee spot I set down) and won't do anything else.

 

 

Is there anything that can be done to fix this? I'd really love to be able to use all the features of this mod.

EDIT: Well the original author gave an update to it that at least gets the squatting animation working, but Sims still won't use it autonomously.

it's even causing a last exception error for me.

Oh I meant to come back and update this because I found out how to get it working. So for starters, make sure to only install the Quitebird_GoldenWhims.package and Quietbird_GoldenWhimsAnims.package files - don't install the ts4script file. To get them to use the spots autonomously, I had to download a mod by SnootySims called Custom Autonomy Mod, which you can get here: https://www.patreon.com/SnootySims/posts/custom-autonomy-147312466

 

You have to manually enable the custom autonomy for every Sim to take care of their bladder need, and then they'll start using any pee spots you set on the ground from Golden Whims. It's not a perfect workaround, but it at least does work (in my experience).

If you're looking for pee and such, Sims Alchemist has those.

What ts4script file? I never saw any for golden whims in github.

Oh I might be thinking of another one then if Golden Whims didn't have it. I'm trying to remember what else I did to get this to work, it's been so long since I had to mess with these. Custom Autonomy Mod I know for sure should help with getting them to use it autonomously. Not sure why you're getting exceptions unfortunately.

It's not causing last exceptions anymore. Now the sims just stand there and have the puddle prompt fill up the prompt space (I'm not sure what it's actually called, I'm just calling it the prompt space).
