[search] lightweight outfit system for NPCs

Hi

I'm looking for a lightweight outfit system that simply a/ saves outfits b/ has the option to give the outfit to NPCs

 

I've been trying a few including Skyrim Outfit System NG: https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/147011

and the core issue is they manage NPCs. I don't need that. this conflicts with many mods including DD

 

Without a mod, it's very annoying to give manually a set of items too, but the console command exists. So wondering if there is a mod out there that just gives a bunch of items on command (click, whatever) to a NPC, then they decide to equip or not.

does have a npc limit though.  Don't off the top of my head know if it conflicts with DD.

• Remove Default - remove their default outfit permanently. This is useful for when an NPC wears something you don't want them to wear nor do you want to replace it with anything (helmet, gloves, etc. More info in Troubleshooting). While this change is permanent, it does not carry across saves.

this is helpful.

 

but I'm looking for an even less intrusive solution: add a group of items (clothing) to a NPC inventory. no need to override, lock.
