Need some help with load order

I use BOSS for my load order, and i want to make sure i have my load order right. I CTD sometimes when i use the spell rape contact. I will try to make a bash patch after i have a good load order. Sorry for my poor english.

Hey, I'm not much of a help about loadorders, but you really should put xeoex.esp last in your list. Having it this high really causes trouble in my game.

BOSS handles unrecognised files really badly, just placing them last in the list, which means they override a lot of things. And because BOSS doesn't recognise a lot of Lovers plugins, they end up getting broken.

My suggestion would be to stop using it.

BOSS is a wonderful tool that recognizes almost everything and places almost everything in the correct order, so I wouldn't recommend stopping using it because it doesn't recognize a couple of esp's or you want a couple of esp's differently placed than in the masterlist. It also comes with a userlist in which you can define overrules to the masterlist and/or add mods that aren't recognized by it. Anyway, I'd never stop using it as I find it indispensable when using FCOM plus lots of other mods.

You are correct to neg about this little detail. When we first started this project way back at old wolflore' date=' no one wanted to take responsibility to create full readme let alone load order recommendation.

 

And because of this, no one now wanted to take it upon himself to create a new one from scratch up, do note that it take allot of effort to create this one, and even with fully created one there is never really any guarantee that will play for everyone the same way. That is why some will never complain about a mod not working, and other are constantly spamming about a crash to desktop.

 

Also with the major influx of new plug-ins created keeping this loadorder thing up to date was real chore, and even japan wiki quite to keep there own load order up to date.

 

Do keep in mind that this load order is just from my own experience and may or may not work for you. So don't hold it against me.

I'm following it, which in practice means that I let BOSS handle some of the Lovers plugins, have added a couple of ones to the userlist that the masterlist doesn't recognize and have added some overrules to the userlist so those load after the Bashed Patch, like:

LoversCreature.esp

LoversIdleAnimsPriority.esp

LoversAnimObjectsPriority.esp

 

Also, it's recommended to not have the Lovers plugins checked when rebuilding the Bashed Patch.

I use BOSS and update the masterlist manually as I add new mods. If you do this, remember to never update it automatically, because that will obviously override all the changes you made. It works great for me and if I edit an esp, I can easily sort my load order by the click of a button.

if you use the latest BOSS version you can simply create (edit ) the "userlist.txt" file to add your own definitions or override existing ones without having to worry about the update option :-)
