DonFrogmen Posted January 16 Posted January 16 I recently downloaded the Fallout NSFW collection redux lite as a base for my modlist (here's the list). I understand that creating your own personal list is preferred but my internet is so bad that downloading packs overnight is the only reasonable way to download more than 20 mods. That out of the way the list did not initially work resulting in a hours long loading screen that ended with an NAF error. I disabled all the NAF mods and was then able to start a new game, after creating my character devious devices loads and then I got a AAF Bootleg/exploit detected error asking me to remove either AAF or file/folder:Data/NAF. I then removed the NAF files in Data and the NAF files in the f4se folder. This fixed the previous issue when launching the list from Vortex allowing me to get as far as the vault salesman which than gives the error that f4se isn't detected and that I should launch through f4se loader which unfortunately results in an infinite loading screen. So i'm a little confused as to what the next step is. Hopefully with your guys help I can get as far as vault 111. Thanks in advance for any help in advance, the majority of my modding experience comes from morrowind and this is just a smidge more complicated haha.
katrina.balanchuk Posted January 17 Posted January 17 What game version are you on? This is important as we have a lot of changes there and many, if not most, modlists dont work with the latest game version. If you want to have an easier life with modding and especially the salacious mods so typical of this website, I would backgrade to game version 1.10.163 Most salacious mods have been written on it and even the ones who havent can be made compatitable with an easy tool ( search BA2 converter). Most collections out there have at least some components not compatible with the latest game version. game version .163 aka OG aka pre-NG will make your life much easier. You must live in the rural/country area like me, my internet was Hughes, but it took three days to download one game, and then your out of GB's for the month so they slow you down even more... switched to Starlink, no limits, great speed, superfast downloads. Don't care for Elon but the internet service is great. Good luck to you. Edited January 18 by Caveman 74
