Hytale modding

surprised im first to post about it 

hytale is out and it has really good importing tools for custom blockbench models
allowing for fully custom animations, models, and behavior
seems its all in on supporting modders

hoping some modder is more likely to make a mod for hytale since it doesnt have that thorny history against NSFW mods like minecraft does

heres the best tutorial ive found 

heres a template for human hytale models

Lowkey hoping for a defeat mod in the future, so I won't be fully paranoid of being ganked by mobs while caving. Fun game so far though and hope the modding will be somewhat stable from Hytale's constant updates.

im more worried about a single toad in the game than a horde of orcs and goblins

I guess starting off, it might be good to share info on how to mod the game.

 

I know the first thing I want is a mod to change the underwear textures into boobs/pecs with underwear that shows off the cheeks (and either a bulge or camel toe)

sadly any dev made tutorials are still coming soon, i myself have been trying to get custom models and textures working and have gotten them in game but animations always break

many people on the discord have tips on how to do it, seems like in theory importing is like a 5 minute process of just putting the model and texture in its own folder and using the asset menu to make it into a player model

since i myself have failed to get it working and make a tutorial for you guys heres someone elses

also found this template for making player models for hytale

remember you can just add geometry as long as its still under for ex, the chest part of the model in the part tree, itll stick to it in animations and import fine

Just being able to be nude and/or have large breasts for the avatar would be a great first step.

seen plenty of people making thier thighs bigger, add boobs or even a bulge already

We'll see what comes out of this. The potential for this is enourmous giving the modding capabilities in place.

From everything i got so far, it seems like Hytale is probably going to work much better for the horny kind of mods than minecraft ever did. And as they dont belong to Microsoft i also wouldnt bet on them running a train on anyone going to make mods for it.

Heh, we'll see people running trains in Hytail after a month, but it won't be the bad type of train

Im making progress on a mod right now, not an artist though so looking for some ideas and feedback :3

These are all standard size avatars, just a trick of the camera lol

Mod seems to be working fine minus clipping issues with avatar tops. When joining any world the mod will strip all avatar clothing and show full nude skin now.

This game will become such a good alternative for minecraft nsfw mods in future, a nude mod in less than 2 days of launch is insane

I'm currently trying to do some stuff but i can't even get the models to import? Any ideas as to why?
Like the names for the models when i try and select the entry are grayed out.

Being honest, I think you could get better results by just making the initial boob one cube and then have a second one for the areola and one last one for the nipple.

Also, angling them down a little bit would make them look a little bit better as well.

Agreed.

Also the butt looks a bit short/small to me.
