Bethesda is Dead

Entschuldigt bitte den kurzen Themenwechsel, aber ich wollte Bethesda für ihren möglichen Einfluss auf die Fallout-Reihe loben. Ich fand sie nämlich ziemlich gut. Starfield habe ich wirklich versucht zu mögen, aber nach acht Stunden habe ich es gelöscht, um Speicherplatz auf meinem PC freizugeben. Wenn Bethesda also tatsächlich an der Fallout-Reihe beteiligt war, kann ich mich wohl offiziell auf Staffel 3 freuen – eine Neuauflage von Staffel 2 mit etwas besserer Grafik und einer Szene, in der Lucy angeln geht. 

 

"Possible" influence?

Of course, Bethesda, as the owner of the Fallout franchise rights, has significant influence on the TV series... but thankfully, viewers are spared a cameo appearance by Todd Howard. Only in one image (a reproduction of a painting) was the original head of "Napoleon" replaced with his skull... but you have to look very closely to see it.

 

What you see as a TV series is a Fallout in a "parallel universe"... so if you completely decouple it from the game series in terms of "lore" -> it actually works.

 

And since we're already on the topic of "lore"... the original lore for the Fallout series did NOT come from Bethesda (see Fallout 1 and 2).

And where Season 3 will go is likely the setting of the unfinished "Fallout Van Buren" (which was intended to be "Fallout 3").

However, only tiny amounts of what actually defined the Fallout series can be found in "Fallout 4."
