I saw a few get uploaded to Nexus last month, but they're gone now and I foolishly did not download them when I had the chance. Did anybody here manage to snag them by any chance and would be willing to share? Â This can also be a thread for discussing and sharing lewd FF8 mods in general.

It's just a texture edit and I would edit the textures myself but I'm having trouble figuring out the right proportions on the texture. The mod in the screenshots looks pretty good, do you happen to have it?

If anything, we just need to edit the textures ourselves. I'm just having trouble with the edges of where the images go in the texture. Â Edit: Here's an example of what I did for Edea in my files. I'd really like to have this version of Selphie, and this version of Rinoa (though it could do with a little polish).
Smoggo88 Posted March 21 Posted March 21 Not to sound dumb, but how do I install these? I've never modded FF8 and the only version I have is the FF8 Remastered version from GOG. The original FF8 version on Steam is on sale, but I dunno if I need that for mods to work, or if all FF8 mods are for the original version and not the Remastered version.

Murbor Posted March 24 Author Posted March 24 Specifically, you need to install a modding framework called Demaster, which unpacks the game's graphical files as plain png files, allowing easy replacement. You also might be able to use Eden, a recently released mod manager, but I haven't tried it.

StarStar007 Posted March 25 Posted March 25 By the way, why when I install with Demaster the background mods for battles combined with the character battle mods the audio becomes crazy with high-pitched noises? I thought it could be because of the "high quality" textures but I resized them to low res and still happens. I mean, the mods work but have this audio issue.
