Blacked out dick

Hi, I've been having the texture issue where most of the penis including testicles is blacked out, and the areas that aren't are distorted. 

 

I moved all my mods but WW elsewhere to see if a mod was clashing with it, but the issue persisted. It happened with all skintones. Then I tried reinstalling WW, and after that trying a previous version.

 

I also tried various fixes I've seen online, including reinstalling sims, deleting the cache packages, trying various mods that tattoo and skin detail over the penis or change it in any way (e.g.  simdulgence realgens penis mod, etc) one at a time

 

Been driving me up the wall trying to figure out a solution lol

Have you tried deleting the localsimtexturecache.package?

Deleting  localsimtexturecache.package from the Documents sims folder (on my install) fixed this for me.

Sometimes it can be cause by other mods, IIRC mods that change textures.

Yes, I've tried deleting all cache packages including this one, and it still didn't work even with only WW in the mods folder. I think I've tried all the main solution atp 🤔

If you post a screenshot, we'll know everything, including the penis you're using, so please post something like a screenshot or something that gives us internal data.

Sorry, I should have done that earlier. 1st (fully black) is without any mods except WW, then I did a 2nd where I added one of the tattoo solutions

Go to tattoos and add one for arms or hands. This fixes it for me usually. No, it doesnt make sense.

The tattoo textures must match the manufacturer and model number of the penis you're using, as the unfolded view (UV, a technique for flattening 3D images) is often very different for each penis.

 

Is this the smallest penis in Simdulgence Realgens? This assumes the use of an overlay skin. Some non-overlay skins come with a penis texture that assumes the use of another penis, and the overlay information is always displayed behind it. This often means that this penis cannot be used.

In that case, you can use any penis with a non-overlay penis texture that has a higher drawing priority than the skin. (It would be faster if you could modify it with S4S, but sorting is up to noir's discretion.)

Yes, if you're using an overlay skin, I think you'll probably be fine if you use the Simdulgence Realgens penis skin. Simdulgence's compatible skin thumbnails are hard to find, and sometimes they're in the body details, not the tattoo section.

The first picture also shows the problem i encountered. I didn't know how to fix it.

If you're smart enough to play Sims, you can solve it by looking at my answer carefully.
If you're distracted by the ads and can't figure it out, please explain what penis you're using and the situation here.
