Gateway customer clothes topless issue

Hello, i've recently found out the gateway event, so i've decided to create my own, military army camp. i've created for all the guys (men only) army custom for everyday top and bottom, and i wanted to create the other sport, sleeping, swim etc. however i've noticed that when any of those custom contain only bottom part and the guys sare topless, there is default chest set for them and not their specific chest body. So I've tried to put top and bottom for fitness and they took of the shirt and they got their own custom chest which is ok. However if i wanted to make their sporty dress topless from start, same as sleeping and swim it does not work and all the sims have the default flat chest only, not the muscled specific. 
Any ideas how to help with this? I've tried to X the top body part when creating the custom outfit, i've tried to put the detailed upper body to be considered as shirt etc but nothing worked.
