too Shiny and washed out

Greetings. I have been using the Project ENB realistic without COT and at first I had really dark dungeons where I would have to use a torch and metallic armor was very dull and barely reflected light. I don't know what happened, I have tried out several enb's and now I am back to project ENB and my dungeons are no longer dark, in some areas they are too bright and washout pale characters and pale armors like the wings on the helmet, and black shiny materials look silver.

in these next two you can see the shirt has lined textures, but even in low lit rooms the white details wash out and are bright shiny

the rest of these shots show how the walls have this ugly shiny green goop that I think used to be moss. Waterfalls and splashes look really bad like white scribbles, and some wood structures look like they are made of shiny plastic.

Has anyone had this problem? or have any idea what could have caused it?

Just saying like that, did you touch th in-game brightness setting?

Otherwise, something that might have had an effect was a different setting of Ambient Occlusion. Perhaps the indirect lighting setting is set too strong.

Besides that, I'm no ENB buff so that's all I can see

in-game brightness is all the way down. I'm not using Ambient occlusion yet, wanted to finish with mods and textures before I try AO because of the fps hit.

i bareley use enbs. buuuut... are you sure you uninstalled them properly after your tests? ... my best bet would be that some setting or stuff like that got stuck. if id be you, i would uninstall ALL ENBs, also the one you like, and only install the enb you want after it again. kinda like cleaning it up. hope that works.
