Surprise and uncertainty

I once added many sexy and devious mods to Fallout 4 myself. At first, it was fun to play, but soon I realized that the game lacked surprises and uncertainty. It felt like I already knew everything that was going to happen, and I also knew how to handle them efficiently. This became a big regret in my gaming experience. During the upcoming holiday, I've decided to try mods for The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, but my experience with modifying Fallout 4 has left me somewhat concerned. Does anyone else feel the same way?😵‍💫

Fallout just doesn't have the depth in adult mods to compete with Skyrim. I follower a similar path as you from F4 to TESV for similar reasons, and Skyrim has given me years of fun while F4 didn't last that long. You're 100% right on the uncertainty disappearing fairly quickly.

If you keep at it though it'll still eventually lose the surprises, it'll just take longer. Happens with every game, the mystery of the unknown can only last so long.

Now I'm thinking about trying The Sims.

Idk why it's stuck with me after so many other quests/encounters, but the first time I locked myself in the room allowing Farkas to get ambushed by a Silver Hand mob, I almost shat myself watching him turn werewolf and maul them all, and then wondering if I was gonna have to fight him next.

Wait until you find Serana's tomb . You'll see that you jump when, the gargoyles come alive when you pass in front of them 🤣

Well, they might have, until now.
