Vex is Actually a Nice Girl - Dialogue Addon ESL

This mod adds 630 lines of dialogue to everyone's favorite thief, Vex.

 

Audio is included.

 

You can talk to her about her past, the members of the Thieves Guild, and she will even give you advice on how to become a better thief.

 

Sometimes she'll be nice to you, sometimes she'll be mean. It depends on her mood.

 

Vex will comment on cities,  and some NPCs such as Maven and Laila.

 

She also has a few battle lines that she will say when fighting bandits, dragons, undead creatures, or vampires.

 

How to recruit her:

 

1. When you first enter Ragged Flagon, talk to Vex first, not Brynjolf.  Then she'll say her first intro.

 

2. Complete Taking Care of Business, then talk to Mercer Frey, followed by Vex, Tonilia, and Delvin. So complete the Meet the Family quest as well.

 

3. Talk to Vex again, and she'll tell you her second intro. Then you can recruit her with the follower framework you're using.

 

That's it. 

 

 

 

The next two NPCs will probably be Irileth and Hilde.

 

 

 

If you have any ideas for Hilde or Irileth,  I mean lines you want to hear,  write them in the comments.  

 

It could be Idle, combat, goodbye, hello, bump, or conversation.

  I thought of a line for Irileth: That was no accident. Try it again, and we'll have a problem you can't walk away from.

It would be nice if her lines were more "categorized" so her disposition improved over time (  based on Thieves Guild main quest progression), so she starts as a bitch to the player to..well, maybe less of a bitch ( with some subtle sign of affection).

But overall pretty well done. Voice lines  seem a big improvement over Babette mod.

Just dialogues, but ruggsy9 will make a mod that will initiate scenes

I don't really know how to do that.

Besides, Vex is just messing with the PC, she actually likes him, but rarely admits it. Now I want to work on other things, including an expansion for Sofia. I plan to write location and quest reactions for Dawnguard and Dragonborn.

That's a good idea. I can't do banter/scenes, that's too complicated for me, but I can make idle lines that they say when they're near each other.

Apologies I do not use Ostim so I can not say 100%, however it should be similar to how you add sexlab tags.

Please no schaken uploads. That asshole steals mods from other people, paywalls them and then goes haywire others upload "his mods" on other sites.

Having trouble trying to recruit her. After the Dialogue where she says she watnes to travel, there isn't a dialogue option to add her as a follower.
Tried to use NFF to force follower but all it gives me is "This NPC cannot be made into a follower"

I use Multiple Followers Framework, which allows me to hire any NPC at any time. NFF probably works differently, I don't know, I've never used it.

 

You can try downloading Nether Vex, which makes her a follower.

 You need to create an account just like with mod any site, yes it has a premium area just like Nexus but is optional. Do not use a VPN.

I agree with him... There’s no reason to host your mods on a shady looking website that forces you to download an app I’m not even confident is safe. The whole site is full of red flags, and honestly, I’m not comfortable using it.

I downloaded the software required by that website, and it kept giving various security risk warnings. The interface after installation looks very strange, almost like a FLASH design from at least 20 years ago. Even so, it still wouldn’t let me download MODs—it kept saying that the MOD required a membership. I checked a few other MODs, and they all required membership. The only reason they chose this platform instead of publishing it here is probably to earn a share from downloads.

 

Moreover, according to the description, this modification requires another MOD to function. That means it doesn't directly alter this MOD itself, but rather uses another MOD to call upon SexLab—completely different from what we imagined, unlike something like the Shadow Man MOD.
