VVatallXX Posted December 11, 2025 Posted December 11, 2025 (edited) I used to use AAF as it was outlined in TFM, but I also run the Storywealth collection, and a recent update rendered AAF unreadable for some reason, so I decided to give NAF a try. Did the following: - New Game, removed AAF - Downloaded (in order) NAF, NAF Bridge and NAFicator, and Furniture Xml for NAF - Installed animation packs and patches (UAP) per TFM - Installed 4play (v. 46) for any animations that may require it - Ran game, waited for NAFicator notification and disabled it (in .ini file) - Copied files from AAF folder and pasted them in the NAF folder which I now realize was redundant due to NAFicator The issue(s) I'm having are as follows: - Unable to select actor and scenes. I can select actors, but no scenes, as they're not populating. - Seems to default 90% of the time to CHAK when doing Sex 'Em Up or MSWL - In MCM I set scenes to run for 60 seconds, but tend to run for maybe 20 or a bit more, then end I love how quickly it renders and how smooth it is, and would love to stick with it, so if anyone can help, sees any errors in my installation method or can point me in a direction I'd be eternally grateful. When I played with NAF, I simply left these new xml files in overwrite folder. I don't know how or is it like smart from my side, but everything worked and I decided left all that stuff as it is. You can try following - delete these xmls which you copied. Enable naficator. Run the game. Let the naficator create new xmls. Disable naficator. Run the game and test 1

Using NAF for AAF animations is much less intuitive when it comes to execution, but far more fluid and smooth in performance. I'll take the steeper learning curve any day if those are the results! 1
Reaper0104 Posted April 7 Posted April 7 Hey follow on question from the OP, I have AAF turned off got the NAF, NAF bridge, NAFicator, but when I load the game no notification comes up, what am I missing?

Naficator needs animation packs to NAFicate. So you'll still need all the same animation packs and etc that you would if you were using AAF. They are both just animation frameworks, they don't provide them themselves. The process only starts load-game, not on game-load. It may also start on new-game but you need to alt-f4 typically to close after it's naficated (built the NAF folder + filled it) so you're better just loading any (probably non-exit) save instead. Unless I'm misunderstanding you. If you're in game after naficator etc, the NAF hotkey by default is "Home" and should bring up something similar to this on the right. Edited April 8 by Franco Cozzo
