Sexlab animations not working for player character

Recommended Posts

Posted (edited)

Hi all. as title says, recently fresh installed SSE, trying to run Sexlab and SLHH, for whatever reason SLHH just isn't triggering at all no matter what options I tick, such as 'no need to wear sexy armor', mess with crime sliders etc.

Also, with the sexlab animations... I try to test them but without fail a male NPC will just run outta butt fuck nowhere and engage with the target, instead of them targeting my character. I play female, the NPC is set to hetero etc.. Originally it would always be my character domming the guy with a strapon, so I disabled strap ons now they just don't engage with my character at all

Any help would be much appreciated

Are you sure about that? SSE doesn't officially exist anymore.

The answer to your question is in the Papyrus log.

Is this wishful thinking or based on how the mod is actually supposed to work? I mean technically there doesn't seem to be anything going wrong here: a character spawned, traveled somewhere and someone got poked (presumably). Also doesn't this contradict your thread title? It seems you're suggesting a SL scene happened here, just with the wrong actors.

The mod starting the SL scene is reponsible for picking animations and assigning actor positions. This mod probably assumes one of the following:

  1. Male player.
  2. Strapon is mandatory.

Says Skyrim Special Edition on Steam, also got it down on LL as Special Edition... So yeah? I'm making sure to download the correct versions that interact with SSE 1.6 blah blah whatever the fuck the latest one is don't remember off the top of my head

Not sure what you mean by wishful thinking lmao but yeah, that's what my whole thread is about. My player character cannot interact with them at all, but the NPCs interact with each other absolutely fine? My confusion stems from the fact that, every other time I've had SL in the past it always prioritized PC x NPC, as opposed to NPC x NPC

Player is set to female in the MCM settings for Sexlab, checked all other MCM menus. Nothing that would alter player gender

Every blowjob animation lead to the same thing. Until I disabled strapons, at which point the PC wasn't involved at all

It be doing that yes; but you have Skyrim AE, since it's apparently version 1.6.something. You dodged the bullet by accident there though so it's all good. In the future ignore what Steam tells you - the exe file version number is the only thing that matters.

Edit: To clarify, Skyrim SE is all versions starting with 1.5, AE is obviously 1.6. Any mod containing a dll is going to be very allergic to incorrect version numbers.

I mean did the mod you downloaded specifically say it can do this thing you want it to do, or are you assuming it can do it because you saw something similar at one point? The mod might have specifically been made to only do encounters with NPCs.

Whether a mod exposes settings for SL scens in an MCM is entirely up to the mod itself. You would have to inspect the Papyrus script that's setting up the scene to know what the limitations and options are.

Ahhhhh I understand. What a silly naming convention lmao

You know what I may need to double check on that one. It's just the Sexlab Framework SE animation editor I was using

Alright cool, I'll do some research on Papyrus scripts and try to make heads or tails of it.

Thanks for the help

It seems unlikely that one would have limitations when it comes to picking actors or animations. So how about inspecting the Papyrus log like I suggested earlier?
