Senile Hotpocket Posted January 22, 2014 Posted January 22, 2014 So uhm. I've only discovered this site and it's affiliated mods tonight. As such, I'm sorry if this has already been addressed somewhere. I was unable to find anything addressing this issue, but still. I'm having trouble with Extracting SexLab for Skyrim. I am able to extract the update, but when I try to extract the .7z, Both Winrar and 7zip agree that the file is corrupted. I've tried updating Winrar, reinstalling 7zip, and I've attempted multiple downloads of the file. Also, I apologize if I'm ignoring some format I'm supposed to be using. Again, I looked but was unable to find anything. I've saw something about posting error logs, but I haven't gotten to that stage. All I can leave you with is "F:\Downloads\SexLabFramework.v135.7z: The archive is corrupt" From Winrar and "Can not open file 'F:\Downloads\SexLabFramework.v135.7z' as archive" from 7zip. I also apologize if my grammar isn't the best. 1 AM here.
nutluck Posted January 22, 2014 Posted January 22, 2014 Just install it with one of the mod manager programs. For someone new to modding they make it a lot easier to use mods anyways. I personally use Nexus Mod Manager cause I use a lot of mods off that site but any mod manager made to work with Skyrim should work.
Senile Hotpocket Posted January 22, 2014 Author Posted January 22, 2014 I'm not new to modding, Just this particular website. xD I do use NMM, but when I try to add it via NMM, It simply states 'It can't be added' under the Download Manager after I try to download from File.
nutluck Posted January 22, 2014 Posted January 22, 2014 Odd all I did, was down load from this site to a folder I have set up to keep copies of mods in my documents. Then have NMM to upload from file and surf to that folder then choose sexlab and it uploaded to NMM just fine for me. Then I was able to activate it like any other mod. You can't upload directly from this site with NMM, you have to first DL it to your HD somewhere and then upload it as a file. It should work, I never had any issue so far with any mods here doing that.
Senile Hotpocket Posted January 22, 2014 Author Posted January 22, 2014 That's what I've done. I've tried installing the .7z multiple times, yet all of them come up with the same.. result. Extracting it says it's corrupt, and we just discussed NMM. I haven't had any problem with other files (I usually download in bulk - I have about 4 other mods I've already gotten from this site that extract fine, but I need Sexlab before I actually install) But for whatever reason, Sexlab itself won't extract.
