Weird Vortex issue.

Today I've run into a weird issue with Vortex.  It all began when I tried to play the game.  Once I launched the game it would immediately ctd after the Bethsda logo is displayed.  As a Skyrim modding veteran I know this means missing masters.  I open up Vortex click on plugins and select warnings and it does indeed say that there are mods missing their masters.  The problem is I checked all of these plugins and I do indeed have the missing masters installed and they are listed in Vortex.  So I know this is a false warning.  This is the first time I have had an issue with Vortex since it was first released.  Does anyone know what might be happening?

Weiß jemand, was los sein könnte?

Are these masters (plugin list) actually activated?

I used Vortex as a mod organizer for a very long time (6-7 years)... there were always mod combinations where I needed the resources of a mod (for another mod) but not its "active actions"... so I manually deactivated the corresponding plugin.

I also know of a case where, due to "some" circumstances, the plugins of already installed mods had been deactivated... so I received a message from Vortex about missing masters.

When I then looked through the plugin list -> I noticed these deactivations.

Solution -> manually reactivate

The last case was more than a year ago (I've since switched to MO2)... I suspected a Vortex update was the cause.

That's the problem the mods that Vortex says I am missing their masters I've had them installed for the past two years barring any updates they might have received and have had multiple playthroughs with them installed.  Today is the first time I have had this issue with vortex.

What does xEdit have to say about this? Also claiming missing masters?

Wait a minute now I remember what I did wrong.  Last night I uninstalled Heels Sound in favor of Heels Sound 2025.
