4onen Posted January 20, 2014 Posted January 20, 2014 Hello SL Forums! 4onen the lurker has returned from the shadows to... unfortunately... complain. I've been using SL, Submit, Arousal, Matchmaker and Solutions for quite a while with no issues, until now. -Issue: Dragur T-Pose during animations. The animation begins, my character gets pounded, but the dragur are just standing and facing in the wrong direction, doing nothing. Location: Raped via SL Submit in the mission to defeat Vals Varen -Troubleshooting steps (So far): *Restart computer *Restart game *Browse LL for solution, find: Reload save before entering cave (which actually fixed it, until I reloaded a quick save inside the cave.) *Re-install all SL-related mods (no effect on it) *Post technical difficulties thread. -Additional information: Yes, constantly regenerating my behavior files. Yes, updated to the latest version. The bug exists on both 4.0 and 4.1 of FNIS, because I first encountered it on 4.0. Human animations and Frostbite Spider animations appear unaffected, at least in my testing. -Mod info: SexLab 1.3.5 Submit 11JAN 2148 Sexlab Solutions 1.2 Sexlab Aroused (Latest? Can't remember the number.) SOS Full XMPS Maximum Skeleton SOS_XMPS combined Skeleton FNIS 4.1 (also bugged on FNIS 4.0) FNIS Creature Pack 4.1 (Also bugged on 4.0) ZaZ Animation Pack Requiem Roleplaying Overhaul (Hasn't conflicted before, and I haven't updated, but given the extent of this mod I thought it relevant.) Open Cities of Skyrim (Several unimportant mods that add new models into certain cells, like oblivion gates in cities.) SKSE 1.6 something SKSE Tester for SKSE 1.5 (I think that's everything.) -Final notes: Basically, I'm concerned it's in the save file. If it is, I could start over again. Wouldn't be the first time a mod broke a save... Actually... Wouldn't be the fiftyith either. If it's just something wrong with saving and loading in Dragur caves, I suppose I could live with just bandit camps. Thanks for the help guys! EDIT: I did have creature pack, added to mod list.
bleagh Posted January 20, 2014 Posted January 20, 2014 Do you still have fnis creature pack installed? You didn't list it in your post.
nutluck Posted January 20, 2014 Posted January 20, 2014 What bleagh said. Also if you do have that installed, generate FNIS and then post all the information from the white box here in a spoiler tag. There can be warnings or errors in there. Since it sounds like there is a issue with the animation not being installed or not installed correctly.
4onen Posted January 21, 2014 Author Posted January 21, 2014 Did have creature pack, and updated it along with the update to FNIS, after I started having the problem. I didn't spot any warnings, though I was checking every time. Nothing came up in the consistence check either: FNIS Behavior V4.1.1 1/21/2014 7:16:13 AM Skyrim: 1.9.32.0 - d:\program files (x86)\steam\steamapps\common\skyrim (Steam) Generator: D:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\skyrim\Data\tools\GenerateFNIS_for_Users Skeleton female: XPMS (242 bones) male: XPMS (242 bones) Patch: "SKELETON Arm Fix" Reading FNIS ... Reading FNISBase ... Reading FNISCreatureVersion ... Reading SexLab ... Reading SexLabCreature ... Reading ZaZAnimationPack ...( 6 furniture, 0 offset,<3> alternate animations) All Anim Lists scanned. Generating Behavior Files... Generating mt_behavior xml ... Converting Behavior Files (.xml to .hkx) ... Create Creature Behaviors ... Reading SexLabCreature ... 1307 animations for 6 mods successfully included (characters) ( 6 furniture, 0 offset,<3> alternate animations) - mt_behavior usage: 1.5 % (73/4770) 242 animations for 1 mods and 16 creatures successfully included. That's the output from one behavior file update and one consistence check. Everything looked okay to me. The only thing that changed for me with the update was the [<3> alternate animations] tag. That wasn't there before. And to reiterate, I started having the problem BEFORE I updated FNIS, so I don't think it's the root cause.
4onen Posted January 21, 2014 Author Posted January 21, 2014 Did some more testing. I started a new game to run around Skyrim matchmaking every creature in sight. Every bear, horse and wolf I tried it on worked. With each I would then save the game, quit, and restart it and cast again. Continued to work fine. I think it's a bug in the save file. Must've been a script of some sort. I don't mind starting a new game. I was only lvl 10. I'll go back to lurking now. Thanks everyone!
nutluck Posted January 21, 2014 Posted January 21, 2014 Yeah then sounds like it was a dirty save. That can happen if you update mods often. Best when you do update mods to do clean saves, it cuts down on issues like that. So your saved games are less likely to run into problems then.
4onen Posted January 22, 2014 Author Posted January 22, 2014 Well, something screws up my saves every time I hit about lvl 20-27. It's not a specific crash or something, it's just a tendency of how often I screw with modding. I guess this save just went a little early. It's cool though. The early days of stumbling through caves and giant camps are way more fun. Weakening enemies to just the right amount with my modpack is not easy. #RequiemAtMaxDifficulty
