47510015 Posted October 10, 2025 Posted October 10, 2025 I want to know how these materials were overlaid onto the original skin texture. I have tried using PS, but due to the symmetry of the body on both sides, if it is not placed accurately, it will be covered up. Does anyone know the correct method
ASUSNA Posted October 10, 2025 Posted October 10, 2025 (edited) You had better export the UV layout to know the seamline. Also Substance Painter can help you directly add texture to 3D model and calculate the right texture. For the symmetry problem, either you export the right and left body parts seperately which may cause abnormal highlight across the seam, or you need to re-unwrap UV to make it unsymmetrical. May I ask if you could explain the process of using SP again? I've been working on it for a long time but can't figure it out

I've been working on it for a long time but can't figure it out As far as I could remember, 1. Import body mesh from dump or any mod in Blender. 2. Export it into .fbx and open it in SP. 3. Edit in SP. 4. Import the texture and apply to 3D model. (You can search for some basic turorial of SP, I am not an advanced user either) I have been stopped using SP for a long time because the texture might get blurry sometimes.
