When I enter the family to play, he goes back to choose the world

I installed the latest update with the new expansion, deleted the Sims 4 folder, and started without mods. However, when I load WW, create a family, and then add it to the world. When I log in to play the family, it returns to the world selection stage. I've already uninstalled the entire game, and nothing has worked. Can anyone help me?

literally have been dealing with this problem for a whole night, here is what GPT suggested and what helped me:

• Move all mods and CC from
  Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4\Mods
  to a safe location (like your desktop). (P.s. Or just rename the folder, it will create a new one)

• Start the game once to make sure it runs normally — this confirms the base game is fine.

• Close the game again.
   

  This is the fastest and most reliable way to find the bad mod:

• Divide your mods into two equal halves (Folder A and Folder B).

• Place only Folder A in your Mods folder and launch the game.

  • If the problem happens → the issue is in Folder A.

  • If the problem disappears → the issue is in Folder B.

• Usually you can find the broken file within 6–8 test cycles.

• Keep dividing the problematic folder in half and retesting
  until you narrow it down to a few specific files.
  
  Btw my mods folder is 12gb so if you're less of a gooner it should be rather quick
