Doberman_and_Tiger1 Posted October 3, 2025 Posted October 3, 2025 Hello all, i tried seeking help on nexus(almost a month ago) but did not get any replies, hoping i can get some help here and i hope i'm posting in the right spot. When I exit Helgen to go to Riverwood, I don't get very far from the cave before crashing, and there is times where my character gets bugged and won't let me cast spells or use weapons until i restart the game. I really didn't test out too much if it crashes when using Alternative Start. but selecting default crossing the border option, after exiting the cave and heading to RiverWood is when I noticed it crashing. Crash Logs, I hope posting on pastebin and linking to it here is okay. I'm not 100% what to look for. It looks like it was the Unofficial Skyrim Special Edition Patch at one point. or Skyfurry, or even alternate start - live another life. I'm also not sure if i missed anything files for any of the mods. I tried to make sure I downloaded everything required for the mods. Any help would be appreciated! https://pastebin.com/ey32w4EY https://pastebin.com/1D2yR72m https://pastebin.com/FJz26W3T https://pastebin.com/WmGe0iGp also i can play the game somewhat for the most part i think, when i choose own a home in one of the strongholds, the game did not crash near Helgen's cave , unlike when I i chose the normal start, where the game crashes after walking a bit away from the cave, I haven't played in a while and or tried any of the other options.
traison Posted October 3, 2025 Posted October 3, 2025 (edited) ey32w4EY The stack was unwound incorrectly, so I'm just going to guess at which part of the stack is relevant. This crash might have been caused by Alduin's behaviour files. The crash might have happened in Havok, and it had something to do with tail bones. Since you're probably using Pandora, switch to FNIS and test again. 1D2yR72m This crash was caused by form id 0x000CC59A reference id 0xFF000BBB "Bandit Chief" in form id 0x00015277 "Fort Neugrad". There is something wrong with their outfit record (form id 0x000A95F7) provided by "SkyFurry_FlowingFur.esp". FJz26W3T This crash was caused by a Havok interaction between form id 0x000EC18B reference id 0xFF000D87 "Elk" and the bounding box of form id 0x0004FBB0 "Landscape\Trees\TreePineForest04.nif" in form id 0x00009BB2 "Wilderness". Again I'd switch to FNIS and test again. If it doesn't solve the issue, then inspect the mods providing all the meshes involved here: the tree and the elk. WmGe0iGp This crash was caused by form id 0x000198BA reference id 0x0001327E "General Tullius". It's having issues with pathing in form id 0x000213A0 "Castle Dour". Inspect the mods that alter the navmesh in Castle Dour. If that doesn't reveal the problem then work your way out from there: where is Tullius likely to want to path to? Solitude marketplace? Solitude stables? Dragonbridge? Morthal? You're probably looking for a mod that's deleting navmesh parts. Edited October 3, 2025 by traison
