Somehow started Forbidden Legend a 2nd time, now it's stuck.

Soni completed the quest the first time before ever finding the book. Got all the pieces, forged the amulet, etc. even have the quest listed in my completed section as done.

Now I read the book lost legends and it started the quest all over again. I found all the pieces on the dead bodies of the brothers and now it won't let me forge them. So the amulet fragments are stuck in my inventory.

How can I either force the quest to complete or get rid of the items? Since they are quest items I can't drop or store them.

This does not guarantee that you will be able to dispose of quest-related items.
