Surrender Animations?

Hello again,

Life got in the way of playing much Skyrim since my last post (about defeat/captivity mods), but I've learned soooo much from the responses and everything is working. So thanks for that.

Relatedly, I like player surrender to be a part of gameplay, where in hopeless battles if I realize it in time I can surrender and maybe get a less harsh outcome than if I'm defeated by force. So this is how I'm playing. Now, depending on which defeat mod I'm using I'll see these different surrender animations where hands are raised briefly, or kneeling with hands up etc. Like classic, less overtly sexual surrender poses. Which I love. I like to put less emphasis on regular sex content in my game anyway, and also hands-up and kneeling poses are perfect for my style of immersive, gender-neutral warrior-defeated situation. Even though my character is female, classic surrender poses feel a bit more similar to if a man was defeated. I play with as many generic hostile human NPCs as possible replaced by women, with a gay female PC anyway, so it all fits well.

My question is, is there a way to find and make use of these specific hands-up/kneeling animations for surrender, and exclude others that just look like my character fell down or got exhausted?

I'll use Naked Defeat as my example mod here for clarity, since it cycles through several surrender poses on defeat that are the kind I like, and I love the crawling feature that's made slower by the encombering item that's added. But my post might apply to any defeat mod. I want my character to do classic surrender poses when a mod is in that first stage of defeat.

Maybe this is a do-my-own-research situation where I need to just remove certain animations from packs I'm using with Naked Defeat, but I want to ask the community first.

Thank you!

you could use hkxPoser to view animations from the files " it does some very basic animation editing too which is perfect for quick clipping fixes "

this way you can pinpoint the animation u want from the files or dont want

im not sure of straight up deleting would cause an issue with the mod u mentioned . to be on the safe side u could replace the ones u dont want with copies of the ones u want

oh and dont forget to rebuild anim behavious afterwards
