ZAZ Causes infinite loading

So I started having issues that when I load a save it sometimes is infinite. The game sounds play around my character but the screen remains black. I isolated the issue to ZAP, tried 8+ and 9 wuth the same rsults. Ran pandora countless times. Weird thing is that if I create a new game, then enable zap I can load in and use it until I close the game that is. Any ideas on how to fix it?

I have a similar issue with Zap 9.0 in LE.  Apparently for me, it's only a problem when equipping zbf devices on followers, saving, exiting, and reloading. I find I have to dismiss them if they continue to wear them, leave, and save/load elsewhere to resolve the issue.
