Make sure you turn off automatic updates and be ready to go into offline mode if you want to continue playing your current saves with your current mods while everything gets sorted out. If you plan on going through with the update, anyway, backup any saves/sims you want to protect, and plan on playing a new vanilla save until all your favorite mods get cleared.
