Loading both FNIS and Nemesis?

Okay so, I will start off by saying yes, I did do a little google to look this up beforehand, and while most of the results seemed positive I thought it'd be better asking here for a definitive answer.

From my understanding, NEMESIS and FNIS can be loaded together through some shenanigans, but I'm not sure how nicely they play together. I understand Nemesis has issues with new creature-related animations and mods (especially animations added or triggered by sexlab but I hear it also fucks with generic creature animation in unfortunate ways) but it's also a hard requirement for a lot of the newer gameplay enhancing mods that add new humanoid/player animations, so it's a hard choice, and if 'both' is an option that actually works I'd much rather pick that.

If any of you have actually managed to get this working in a comfortable, FUNCTIONAL manner, I'd love for a few pointers. I've seen a couple of methods from just doing fuckery with the .exes to modifiying the setup/script files, so I'd much rather just ask someone who's managed to get it working comfortably themselves.

Game version is 1.6.1170.0 SE without the Anniversary creation club mods.

One thing to keep in mind with Pandora is that every version has it's own issues:

2.4.0:

*  Some draugr turn into slinkies when they die.

*  Causes random Havok crashes during the Helgen intro.

2.7.0:

* Canine animations are completely broken.

3.0.0:

* Causes random Havok related crashes during the Helgen intro sequence.

All versions are also missing the FNIS scripts, while containing the FNIS esp. This causes issues with certain installs of XPMSE and other things. The fix is to either install FNIS as well, or to just copy its scripts into Pandora. Another issue that all Pandora installs have is that the folder structure is wrong, which makes them explode directly into the Skyrim Data directory if installed with a mod manager. The fix for that is obviously to just install it somewhere else: in MO2 you can edit the directory structure before installing.

Edit: Based on github commits it kinda looks like the Helgen CTD might have been fixed a month ago or so, so if there's a release after that it might be included.

Current version seems to be 4.04 so I can't wait to see what is broken in this one! I think they fixed the folder structure too, it seems to be fine with just a regular install through MO.

Just installed 4.0.4 here, not tested yet. Folder structure was still wrong - it would have exploded into the Data directory. It doesn't really matter with MO2, but I like to keep things organized and clean.

If the Helgen crash has been fixed then I may not have any further complaints about Pandora, and I think it would be the first time since some of the very early alpha versions that this has happened. But, Pandora does have a tendency of brining new issues in every release as well so... hoping for the best, prepared for the worst.

Thanks for your comments. It's this kind of intermittent problem-creation that has made me stay away from Pandora for now. I will eventually switch over from Nemesis but it's doing the job for what I really need. But we all appreciate seeing that continuous development.
