Skeleton? Issue with schlongs

I'm having an issue which I am guessing can be traced to the skeleton or physics in some format, due to it affecting both males and my character's substitute subjugator. The attached image should already give a good example of what I mean, but the lower half of the genitals also tends to stay stuck in place when standing and follows the rest of the character at a slight delay. I have already worked my way through the FAQ on the mod pages and other resources, and have unfortunately either not found or missed a solution to this.

I am using XPMSSE Basic, TNG, and the CBPC configs from 3BA. Trying a different physics config does not fix the issue.

That's physics, not the skeleton.

Different physics config for what, and provided by what?

If you're using a hybrid physics system, you first need to figure out which system is controlling the part you're having issues with:

  1. Delete the dll of either SMP or CBPC.
  2. Query your mod manager to make sure nothing else is still providing the dll you just removed.
  3. Test in-game.

When the part turns static/stiff, you've disabled the system that was controlling it. Now you can look into configuring it.

The "break" happens regardless of physics system. CBPC only has the issue shown in the initial image, and SMP causes the genital to spazz all over the place. This happens regardless of which TNG addon is present.

In that case, and assuming you did what I suggested, you have 2 overlapping issues:

  1. CBPC and SMP are both controlling the same nodes.
  2. CBPC and SMP are both configured badly when it comes to the nodes affecting that strapon.

So:

  1. Start Outfit Studio.
  2. Open the strapon mesh.
  3. Make a list of the nodes/bones that have weightpainting for the shaft.

SMP:

  1. Open the strapon mesh in NifSkope.
  2. Find the SMP extradata hint node, and note down the SMP preset file path.
  3. Open the SMP preset in notepad, and adjust it until the SMP physics work as you want them to OR remove the extradata node if you do not plan to use SMP for physics here.

CBPC:

  1. Go through the CBPCMasterConfig*.txt files in SKSE\Plugins and find the shaft nodes.
  2. Make a list of the physics presets these are assigned to.
  3. Go through the CBPConfig*.txt files in SKSE\Plugins and find the presets.
  4. Adjust these presets until the CBPC physics work as you want them to OR remove the preset assignments from CBPCMasterConfig if you do not plan to use CBPC physics here.
