for anyone who's facing the issue of followers disappearing after they equip the gauntlets

 

open the mesh in outfit studio, go to partitions tab, there you'll find the mesh wrongly assigned to slot 32 body, click on the dropdown menu and pick slot 33 hands then apply the change

 

export the nif

 

done

The helmet is turning black in both versions (a different color from the armor). How do I fix this?
