Installing ENB and customizing it

Hello there, guys. I'm pretty experienced with modding skyrim, but enb was always a confusing thing to me. I'm reinstalling skyrim and it is still running smoothly [still... XD] but i'm already applying enb with enboost and a few other things just to be safe.

Enb and Enboost are already properly installed, but i'm sure i'm missing something. And that is the in-game tweaking menu. You know, the one opened by pressing Shift + enter. What do i need to use it and manually tweak my enb with whatever i want?

Oh, and if someone wants to be nice enough and tell me how to achieve the crazy refraction effects and parallax that some models+textures have when using a pre-configured enb, i'd be really thankful! I don't want to use those enbs because there's a specially annoying gray film on the whole screen.

I don't want more colors, less colors, anything like that. I just want parallax and refraction on my enb.

I think the menu is a subordinate to the binary you downloaded from Boris's website. That means, if your enb preset asks you to download a binary without the menu configured in it, you won't get it in game I guess. That or it's an option in the preset's enbseries itself, I can't remember but it should be mentioned on your enb's page.
I think the film is an option and again, it's either a binary issue or it's an option on your preset, which should have optional files to remove said film if the guy who posted it did everything correctly :P

Edit : Yes, there is a lot of "I think" ahaha

Actually, most of the famous enbs i know have the gray film. People don't seem to notice or bother with it, but i've heard it's an effect of the customisation. If it is removed, a lot of other settings go with it. That's why i'm not bothering with any, and trying to do a simple one for myself.

I'll look into the config file to see if i can enable that menu, but i still would love to know what to enable for parallax and refraction xD
