How to make the DEFEAT Essential option conditional on attacker gender?

Hello everyone,

I last played Skyrim LE back in 2017 with a large modpack, and I've recently gotten back into the game with a modern, large-scale modpack. I have a question about the DEFEAT mod.

When I played in the past, my DEFEAT setup (as a male player character) was perfect for me:

  • When defeated by female NPCs or female creatures, I would get knocked down and a SexLab scene would trigger.

  • When defeated by male NPCs or male creatures, I would die instantly with no knockdown.

After running into issues with my new setup, I did some research and realized my old modpack likely achieved this by using DEFEAT in combination with Death Alternative, probably utilizing its bleedout system.

And that brings me to my current problem. I'm now using a large, "coomer-focused" modpack, and my character is essentially invincible. It doesn't matter if I fall from High Hrothgar, fight a troll, a dragon, or a group of bandits—I simply cannot die. Whenever I lose a fight, I just get knocked down, and I can revive by filling up a "resistance" gauge.

Even for a heavily adult-themed playthrough, I feel this is too unrealistic and breaks my immersion. I just want to get raped by female NPCs and creatures, but be killed normally by men or monsters. Can anyone help me achieve this?

Here's the main issue: when I go into the DEFEAT MCM and disable the "Essential" option for the player, I just die instantly against everyone. The DEFEAT scenes no longer trigger, even when I'm defeated by women. I just die.

How can I fix this? Is there a way to get DEFEAT to trigger for females while still allowing me to die to everyone else?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

In Defeat, in the "Player as Victim" section you can configure which NPC gender and creature races you can be assaulted by:

Thanks, brother, I actually solved it. That option was naturally checked. I use a large modpack, and it seems the modpack creator personally modified 'Baka Defeat.' It works fine now after replacing it with 'Bane Defeat.' Happy Sexrim, everyone!
