tlrd Posted August 18, 2025 Posted August 18, 2025 Just started a new playthrough and got a crash around the guardian stones. I'm seeing mention of different bones but I'm unsure if that's is related. crash-2025-08-18-19-15-34.log
traison Posted August 18, 2025 Posted August 18, 2025 If you're using Pandora, rebuild your behavior files with FNIS and test again.

traison Posted August 18, 2025 Posted August 18, 2025 They do the same thing, they should never be used at the same time. Pandora has a bug in it that causes random Havok related crashes. Your crash was Havok related, so test with FNIS behavior files to see if the problem goes away.

Damn, on a similar bug report about havok crashes on the Github going back to 2.7.0 seems to have fixed the crash. Would it be possible to just keep the behaviour files from FNIS, letting them overwrite the ones Pandora makes? I need Pandora for my combat mods and Pandora 3.0 includes a fix to a bug with A posing skeletons or should I just revert Pandora to 2.7.0 to play it safe?

No, that will not allow your current mods that essentially require Nemesis to work. 23 minutes ago, tlrd said: I need Pandora for my combat mods and... Irrelevant. The thing that matters now is whether or not this is a problem with Pandora or not. Switch to FNIS, test. If it's still crashing, then the problem is in Precision.dll, as that's next on the list of mods that cause Havok crashes. If it turns out to not be Pandora, you can rebuild behavior files with it and things go back to the way they were. 23 minutes ago, tlrd said: ...should I just revert Pandora to 2.7.0 to play it safe? 2.7.0 has broken canine animations. Every version of Pandora has a problem. You pick the problem that bothers you the least and roll with it. I'm on the latest, because I skip the Helgen intro where the crash is guaranteed. I have not seen a Havok crash outside of the scripted intro yet. 23 minutes ago, tlrd said: ...a similar bug report about havok crashes on the Github going back to 2.7.0 seems to have fixed the crash. So far I believe I've had 4 different Havok crashes during the Helgen intro (at the exact same point). If 2.7.0 fixed something, it was only one of several. I'm fairly certain the Helgen intro used to work, so I wouldn't be surprised if this issue is specific to the newer versions of Pandora, i.e. the early alpha/beta builds probably worked better in this regard. tlrd Posted August 19, 2025 Author Posted August 19, 2025 I should be running the most up to date version of Pandora v3.2.0 Beta and did not crash during the Helgen intro, However when I go into Pandora in the "about" it says version 3.1.0 Beta not sure if thats just incorrect or what I've tried both the 3.2.0 from github and the one from nexus. Ill try reverting the version and see if I can stop the crashing. Thank you for all the help, here's hoping the next version of Pandora is bug free.
