turbosnowy Posted January 15, 2014 Posted January 15, 2014 View File This is a reboot of my original 'Fallen Angels' mod - quite a few changes have been made and for anyone who knows my original Mk1 version, hopefully you will think the changes are for the better. ------xXo0oXx------ Summary ------xXo0oXx------ Four Fallen Angels are now available to be summoned if you are skilled and powerful enough in the Dark Arts. The spell books are located in Whiterun's 'Hall of the Dead' on the right hand side coffin as you enter. The fallen angels vary in how they fight - some have skills to raise dead, cast hellfire and other nasty new spells, heal themselves, use demonic bows and more - all wiill however kick ass with a crazed vengeance and a beautiful style so find the fallen angel(s) that suits your playstyle best or just like the look of. They will fight/accompany you for 5 minutes and then go back to whatever nefarious business they were up to before you rudely interupted them with your summonation (knitting black stockings, arranging dead flowers, ripping the spines out of extra-planar adventurers - possibly that kind of thing) ------xXo0oXx-------- Video --------xXo0oXx------ ------xXo0oXx---- Requirements ----xXo0oXx------ You will need Apachii Skyhair for this mod - available on Nexus here: http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/10168/? ------xXo0oXx- The Fallen Angels -xXo0oXx------ Suffer - Slinkier, very capable melee with choice of hell magic for ranged attacks and can summons/animate dead. Writhe - Hell Armoured, uses hell magic for ranged attacks and summons/animates dead. Twilight - Hell Armoured, uses hell bow for ranged attacks, melee heavy with limited self healing. Sin - Slinkier, uses hell bow for ranged attacks, melee heavy with limited self healing. Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ): Q1) How duz I download this? A1) There is a download button on the top right - ideally use a mod manager to install it for you once downloaded, otherwise unpack and plonk contents in your Skyrim Data directory. Q2) How does this differ from the original version? A2) I made them levelled with levelled weapons which means as you level and summon them again they will have become stronger. They start off weaker at lower levels than the original version but become stronger later - also will happily level past 80 now. I also changed the appearance despite saying I wouldn't (so hopefully you will like the new look) Q3) Where do I find them/How do I summon them? A3) WIll make a video shortly, but in essence, find the spellbooks in Whiterun's 'Hall of the Dead' - coffin top right hand side from entrance - is a small room so you should feel a bit embarrassed if you cannot find 4 large books in the open, in quite a small room.... Read the books, learn the spells, cast them ...if you can... Q4) I found the books and learned the spells but I cannot cast them - 'itz brokan!!1 lulz' A4) Quit being shit at magic - stick some points in magic, level up conjuration and you will be fine - this was always designed to be a top end spell for evil characters so don't imagine at level 1 with your trusty rusty spoon as a main weapon you should be able to summon freaking demons... Q5) I cast the spell but nothing happens - wtf? A5) It has a long cast time, so you can't just spam them in a tight spot - keep casting that spell...no don't release yet...no no still don't release....wait for it....wait for it.... ok go! BOOM 'Fallen Angel' If I get further queries that repeat will add to the FAQ, however knowing you lot I'll probably be hit with a deafening wall of silence until the mod disappears to page 836.... (sorry, old habit from nexus ) hm... they look pretty badass and yummy if you can do stuff like that, then why not uploading the armor? i mean, thats some high quality stuff that is kinda wasted only for summoning them. id love to have that hell stuff on one dude from my windstad manor (roggi the old knotbeard) edit: the book covers are amazing too... hm. i hope thulas notices them, one of the best writers ive noticed so far

Any issues lemme know and will fix asap - always can be a bit flaky with a brand new release - also suggestions/comments welcome, as I have to say I have a soft spot for this mod and want to make it the best I can, so good ideas - lemme have em. Actually I had a good one just now - how about giving one a whipcane? What do ya reckon? Would mean requires Dragonborn DLC however....hrmm... lemme know your thoughts.

Would mean requires Dragonborn DLC however....hrmm... lemme know your thoughts. just my personal taste: no whipcane. this is no weapon for a fallen angel. it would take away some of their badass-ness. plus my personal opinion on releases is: the less required, the better... but hey, after all its your mod its just... a whip for pron-mods... okay. but a raging beast summoned from hell? with a weapon that says "youve been a naughty squirrel"? ... id go for some huge stuff with a shitload of skull, spikes, and if possible in flames. HELL! edit: something like this evil bitch here ... but with a longer more spikey blade.

turbosnowy Posted January 15, 2014 Author Posted January 15, 2014 OK was getting with a jpg "You are not allowed to use that image extension on this community." messages earlier - tried png and gif to no effect - uploaded both to LL and now got a tiny tiny banner lol - seems to default to a thumbnail size

Can be crazy as in long but not fat bladed is all I would say - crazy ass weapons see to be your bag I notice If busy or not interested no problem - will likely have a play myself - but if you are would be good to see what you come up with.

Give me a few screenshots and a style/color and I will try a few things in my free time. I can't provice you with vids though.
turbosnowy Posted January 15, 2014 Author Posted January 15, 2014 TBH I would just say play with the mod and see where your creativity takes you - you can see the style I guess from the vid I shot, screenies attached to the mod and the banner I made already - hopefully give you a view on where my head is at re: this mod - i.e. is supposed to be dark, and sexy, and dangerous, and dark, bit of mystery, and lets not forget dark and dangerous Just so you know you made me worry about the banner now, so will make an improved version
Guest Ragna_Rok Posted January 15, 2014 Posted January 15, 2014 yoink! .. crap, it got late, and i enjoyed myself some chuck norris hm.... archangel blade... tempting. very tempting. at the moment i first gotta finish some other stuff (couple of elven weapons) and im also in exam-phase of studies (thats why i dont mod much *lol* ). we could talk again about it in like 2 to 2,5 weeks... then i have holidays, for now i just fill some gaps in my gear. im gonna make a note on that one. i have to say, i would also like to know what you would come up with... well, to quote good ol Arnie: I'LL BE BACK!
