qxm506 Posted January 15, 2014 Posted January 15, 2014 Hi everyone, sorry for the noob question, but I recently discovered the mods' world and I'm going crazy ... Could you give me a list (correct order to avoid problems) with the mods "indispensable" and recommended to start with a good adventure full (I haven't any DLC)?As I understand it would start like this: management's mod:- Nexus mod manager- SKSE- Boss- Tes5edit - Optimizer Textures (?) patch- Unofficial Skyrim Patch ITA - ... interface - SkyUi - ... GUI - Skyrim HD Texture (?) - CBBE (?) - Better Females by Bella (?) - .... are too many and I don't know which ones would be duplication/incompatible ... texture, skeleton, FNIS... too much!!! :-) obviously also - Sex Animation Framework - and choose sexlab from here: http://skyrimmodzone.blogspot.nl/p/skyrim-top-10-adult-sex-lab-mods-trick.html#age18plus Thanks to all Luca
dobmc Posted January 16, 2014 Posted January 16, 2014 First, first, first… Don't use Bella's barbie doll texture… Please don't use it… Just don't…. Second, NMM sucks moist shrubs, go manual install as a beginner or use MO. Third, begin slowly. Don't add a crap load of mods at once. In the beginning, you need to know what kind of gameplay you want. Do you want a uber-immersive experience? Then go get Frostfall - Hypothermia Camping, Wet and Cold, etc. Fourth, I forgot to say that: Know your limits. If your computer is a low-medium spec then try avoid installing mods that include script. If you're finding mods, I recommend you to go to this site. Pretty organised and easy to find mods of your preference. Now anyone can follow up?
qxm506 Posted January 16, 2014 Author Posted January 16, 2014 Thanks for the reply! First ok, i will not use Better Females by Bella! It was just one of the mods that I have heard most often. My PC it's a laptop with i7 2,2ghz, 8gbram, ati hd 6750, ssd. It 's a bit old but not so bad... I hope. I played Skyrim just came out and I liked it a lot, but unfortunately i played it only for a few hours and for reasons of time I abandoned it. Now I want to play it again from the beginning and I found all these mods that can make the game better: gameplay, graphics, immersion, things you can do (like sex or more), ... I read that every mod installed, you should start from scratch to avoid the risk, so I would start with something nice and full. This world (mods) is too large and it is difficult to navigate for beginners. Later I will try more mods, variations, etc.. Thanks again for the advice
Guest Ragna_Rok Posted January 16, 2014 Posted January 16, 2014 most of the time armors and weapons can be uninstalled quite easy if you dont wanna use them anymore. the only thing that happens would be loosing the weapons of course. at least this is the case when gearmods are made independent. after uninstall just a message pops up that stuff is missing (like the weapon you stored in your chest), you say "okay", make another save, done. (at least thats the case for my gear)
